I've been working on perfecting my sourdough starter poolish, which I named Myrtle. She's a bubbly midwestern girl, still struggling to find her place in the bread making world. Our first couple of attempts at breadmaking were somewhat dismal...nonetheless, Myrtle keeps up her bubbly personality and keeps coming back for more bread-making attempts.
We'll keep you posted on her progress, and when we have something truly worthwhile to share regarding sourdough bread making...we'll check back in.
